Serene S207T & S2069 Wall Mount Heaters
Identification:
The Serene S207T heater was sold at Reece between 24/01/2018 to May 2024. The Serene S2069 heater was sold at Reece between 16/06/2018 to May 2024.
Defect:
The S207T & S2069 wall mounted heaters have been deemed not compliant to New Zealand mandatory safety standards.
Hazard:
Risk of electric shock.
What should I do?
You can continue to use your unit as normal, however please do not remove the plastic cover on the side of the unit or attempt to operate the controller board push buttons.
Please contact Reece using the information below to arrange for an authorised Reece service agent to provide a free on-site remediation service. This will involve fitting a sheet metal cover over the electrical terminals that allows safe access to the push buttons.
Do not remove the plastic cover on the side of the unit or attempt to operate the controller board push buttons until the service is performed. Opening the plastic cover should only be carried out by a qualified person, even after the service is complete.

Serene Classic S2068 Bathroom Heater
Identification:
Serene Classic S2068 Bathroom Heaters in both white and stainless-steel finish, sold by Reece New Zealand from 16 June 2018.
Defect:
The Serene Classic S2068 Bathroom Heater has been deemed unsafe and is non-compliant with New Zealand safety standards.
Hazard:
The product may overheat and/or cause a fire.
What should I do?
Immediately turn off and stop using the product. Contact Reece, using the details listed below, to organise the return of the product for a refund.
