Auckland returns to Alert Level 2
The New Zealand government has announced that Auckland is to return to Alert Level 2 with a range of restrictions easing, as a result of the city’s week-long lockdown.
This means that we are able to re-open a number of self-service facilities across Auckland.
What’s changed with the latest announcement
Self-service facilities to re-open in all Auckland stores. Building, construction and the essential work of trades can continue safely, with no change to current requirements. Our trade stores are open and supply will not be impacted. Our online platform maX is available, and we’re providing both contactless delivery and click and collect. Healthy habits are encouraged—including hand sanitising and masks.
We will be offering hand sanitiser, practicing physical distancing and we’ll still need to record details for contract tracing.
If you have visited a contract tracing location of interest you may need to get tested. You can find the latest details about locations of interest listed on the Ministry of Health website.
We ask that everyone adopts these healthy habits, so that we can do business safely.
